Visit Alexandria is a membership-based 501(c)(6) organization that prides itself on strong ties to the Alexandria business and tourism communities. Virginia Tourism Corporation reports that visitors from more than 50 miles away generated over $800 million in direct spending in calendar year 2022.

Our work to support tourism to the City of Alexandria includes marketing, public relations, visitor services, meeting and group sales, the VisitAlexandria.com website, social media, member services, the Official Alexandria Visitor Guide and Map, and tourism research.
