Your membership includes a free listing in the Alexandria Visitor Guide. With a circulation of 250,000, the guide is distributed at over 95 locations, that are not solely in Alexandria but also in Arlington, National Harbor, Washington, D.C. and up and down the I-95 corridor and Virginia rest areas, which are critical distribution sites.
VISITOR CENTER INFORMATION
Our concierge staff provides extraordinary guidance to an average of 75,000 visitors per year. Think of them as an extension of your sales team speaking to the most qualified leads—visitors who have already chosen Alexandria and who are looking for ideas of what to do and where to dine and shop. Your membership includes a free brochure rack slot in the Visitor Center. The Visitor Center has also greatly expanded its ticketing, so members have the opportunity to sell tickets to these tens of thousands of visitors who are looking for things to do.
Our communications team promotes Alexandria’s community image across multiple platforms. We placed over 1,000 stories for each of the last four years in local, national, and international media. We have over 167,151 social media followers on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. Our visitALX blog provides an insider perspective on what’s new in Alexandria, giving visitors and locals a reason to come back and read about Alexandria each week. Visit Alexandria regularly looks to members for content that exemplifies the extraordinary Alexandria experience.

Visit Alexandria creates a series of promotions year-round, including Restaurant Weeks, Summer Sidewalk Sale, holiday promotions, Boat Parade, and summer and winter hotel packages, plus opportunities to submit season-specific content. NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES & MEMBER EVENTS
Visit Alexandria also offers three formal membership meetings a year in January, June, and October, which provide the latest information on trends and research and allow you to network with your peers.
