Welcome to the City of Alexandria’s Film Office


On the Potomac River within eyesight of Washington, D.C., Alexandria, VA is nationally recognized for its rich history and beautifully preserved 18th- and 19th-century architecture. Film Office Management

Visit Alexandria coordinates applications and permits on behalf of the City of Alexandria for filming that takes place on public property. Drone and aerial photography requests are also routed through the Film Office.
