Oak is a modern steakhouse located in Alexandria, VA’s historic Old Town district led by Executive Chef Josh Mitchell and the award-winning Indigo Road Hospitality Group. Offering a lively steakhouse experience, the menu features more refined, farm-to-table sensibilities with fresh, seasonal creations showcasing carefully selected ingredients. Guests enjoy the finest cuts of Certified Angus Beef Prime steaks, raw bar selections, freshly prepared seafood, and internationally inspired chef specials alongside an extensive list of sides, produce, small plates, and in-house bread program responsible for the restaurant’s famous Housemade Parker Rolls.
The space itself is warm and inviting with an open kitchen and dining room featuring reclaimed wood, exposed brick, and leather banquettes flanked by large, floor-to-ceiling windows offering a view of the bustling street and open-air patio. A custom-built wine wall displays a robust selection in simple elegance, featuring over 200 bottles from the world’s top wine regions, while the bar offers an extensive bourbon & whisky list. Oak is open for dinner seven nights a week. Reservations are encouraged, walk-ins are welcome.
