Hotel Indigo
Nestled just steps from the water in Old Town, Hotel Indigo is within convenient walking distance of dozens of locally-owned restaurants and independent boutiques. Traces of Alexandria’s colonial past are evident throughout the hotel, including an homage to the 18th century ship that was unearthed during the hotel’s construction.

- Limited hotel parking is available on site for a fee.
King Street Metro Station to Hotel Indigo:
- The King Street Metro station is the closest Metro rail station to Hotel Indigo. This station is on the Blue and Yellow lines and in the direction of Franconia-Springfield/Huntington if you are traveling from Reagan National Airport or Dulles International Airport via Metro.
- From the King Street station, visitors can access the free King Street Trolley or rideshares to get to Hotel Indigo. It is also about a 25-30 minute walk from the station to the hotel.
Amtrak
- The Alexandria Amtrak station is located on King Street, just above the King Street Metro stop in Old Town Alexandria.
- From the Amtrak station, visitors can access the free King Street Trolley or rideshares to get to Hotel Indigo. It is also about a 25-30 minute walk from the station to the hotel.
Old Town
Hotel Indigo is located in the Old Town neighborhood of Alexandria. Old Town is the heart of the city, serving as a waterfront downtown rich in history, unique architecture, attractions and independent businesses. Enjoy a variety of dining options, take a historic walking tour, visit the nationally-recognized Torpedo Factory Art Center or just stroll down cobblestone streets.
For those who wish to explore Old Town, the free King Street Trolley starts at the King St Metro an runs every 15 minutes from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day of the week. There are stops along both sides of King Street until Market Square, at which point it turns around.
