Paint Your Pet: Custom Pet Portraits Workshop

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Calling all pet lovers! Get ready for a fun and relaxed pet portrait watercolor class! Simply send a photo of your furry friend to hello@alexandraschmeling.com, and I’ll prepare an outline on 8×10 watercolor paper.

During the class, Alex will walk guests through painting their pet using watercolor techniques, making it easy for any skill level. By the end, guests will have a finished portrait of their furry friend to take home, along with a watercolor paint palette and brush to continue their artistic journey.

This class is all about having a good time, so come ready to paint and unwind!

NOTE: Class will begin with a warm-up exercise that will provide the foundation for the rest of the class, so please make sure you arrive on time! Parking in OLD TOWN ALEXANDRIA can be tricky, so please allow plenty of time to find parking so you are able to make it to class by the start time. Thank you!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Alexandra Schmeling is a watercolor artist based in Arlington, VA. She started her career as a watercolor painter doing pet portraits to raise money for local animal shelters, and now does her art full-time! She specializes in pet portraits and scenes around DC, though her absolute favorite thing to paint is France.
