Lindsey Kustusch & Nate Ross Cityscape Exhibition & Opening Reception
Oregon-based couple, Lindsey Kustusch and Nate Ross will have their first dual cityscape exhibition at Principle Gallery! Kustusch and Ross are best known for their San Francisco street scenes, highlighting the charm of the distinctive city.
Lindsey has been exhibiting her artwork in galleries nationwide since 2009 and enjoys connecting with other like-minded people through in-person workshops and online courses. She is fascinated by the power of art and how a single painting can dramatically alter the way we see our surroundings, how everyday things can gain immense beauty simply because we’ve experienced them through someone else’s eyes. Whether it is the grit of city living, the diverse world of plants and animals, or anything in between, art offers us a chance to see our planet differently, as the artist and the viewer.
Nate studied animation at the Academy of Art University and currently works for Tippett Studio, an animation and media production company based in Berkeley, CA. His background is in film visual effects, working on projects such as The Last Jedi. Fine art and painting have always been highly regarded by Ross; and it was in a painting class in college that he met his now wife and fellow Principle Gallery artist, Lindsey Kustusch. Alongside his career as an animator, Ross has spent the last seven years developing his skills as a painter and devoting his off time to his passion for fine art.
The show opens on Friday, November 8th and there will be an Opening Reception that evening from 6-8:30 pm. The reception is free and open to the public!
