Bellacara

Shortly after Bellacara’s 20th anniversary, COVID hit, and, like so many businesses, the esteemed boutique was struggling. At the time, founder Angela Sitilides sought to pass Bellacara to a loyal employee who shared her passion for the boutique. “It would be a dream,” said Celthia Corsino when offered the opportunity. As a longtime manager and makeup artist, Celthia’s positive energy, genuine personality, and expertise in the luxury makeup industry made her ideal to revive Bellacara. In 2021, Celthia became the owner of the store, which is Old Town’s leading boutique for high-end cosmetics, skin care, and hair care.
As a child, Celthia loved painting and drawing, a passion she carried through her family’s moves for her father’s diplomatic career. This creative background laid the foundation for an inspiring freelance career that eventually led her to Bellacara in Alexandria, her hometown. Drawn to Old Town’s beauty and charm, she values Bellacara’s proximity to Washington, D.C. At the boutique, Celthia showcases each client’s unique beauty with creativity and a keen eye, drawing on over 20 years of experience working for luxury makeup brands. Her background creating looks for VIPs at the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit, Inaugurations, and the White House Correspondents’ Dinner makes her well-equipped to help curate reputable high-end products in the boutique.
Today, she leads Bellacara, offering luxury makeup experiences that inspire clients to elevate their style with creative, reputable brands. To further share her passion, Bellacara provides individual and group makeup lessons by appointment. Welcoming everyone from new explorers to seasoned enthusiasts, Celthia encourages clients to bring their own products to each session, where she helps them create a personalized look using what they already own.
