Alexandria, VA (July 29, 2026) – Visit Alexandria, the official destination marketing and management organization for Alexandria, Virginia, is celebrating 30 years of impact. We are thrilled to announce that Visit Alexandria’s 2026 Annual Meeting, our biggest event of the year, will be held on Wednesday, September 16, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET at The Westin Alexandria Old Town. We invite you to join us in celebrating Alexandria’s tourism community and economic impact as we look ahead to the future. This year’s theme is Celebrating Our Past. Unlocking Our Future.

Registration opens at 5:00 p.m. and the program is expected to begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by a reception. Program highlights include a glimpse into Visit Alexandria’s impact over the years, FY26 year-in-review, tourism’s economic impact, insight into Visit Alexandria’s new member programming and key initiatives and a window into what’s ahead for our organization and Alexandria in FY27. We are also thrilled to announce at our Annual Meeting the inaugural Tourism Champion of the Year Award, a distinguished honor that recognizes an individual or organization who has made a significant and lasting contribution to Alexandria’s tourism and hospitality industry.
