Alexandria Featured in New and Final Season of Queer Eye
Fab Five Filming Locations including Salon deZEN and 1799 Prime Steak & Seafood Revealed

Alexandria is stepping into the spotlight with the premiere of the new and final season of Queer Eye, which premiered on Netflix today. Visit Alexandria is excited to highlight the city’s role in the Netflix series as season 10’s production headquarters and invites locals and visitors to experience Alexandria just like the Fab Five did.

To celebrate the season launch, Visit Alexandria published a new blog today, “Guide to Queer Eye in Alexandria,” highlighting the Alexandria locations featured in the season, including the King Street Progress Pride Rainbow Crosswalk (intersection of King Street and N. Royal Street) in episodes one and five, Hazel O. Salon (108 N. Washington Street) in episode one, Salon deZEN (533 Montgomery Street) in episode three and 1799 Prime Steak & Seafood (110 S. Pitt Street) in episode five. In various episodes viewers can spot additional Alexandria details like Old Town rowhouse doors, a DASH Pride bus, the spire of City Hall, Market Square fountain and more.

Last summer, Visit Alexandria partnered with the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership (AEDP) and the City of Alexandria to bring Queer Eye filming and production offices to the city. Visit Alexandria worked with the Queer Eye production team to help scout filming locations as AEDP worked with them to secure a lease for their production offices in the Van Dorn Station shopping center. Visit Alexandria and AEDP collaborated to help source local businesses for filming. Visit Alexandria, acting as the City of Alexandria’s film office, executed required film permits, and coordinated with city departments to ensure a smooth and safe filming experience.

The series filmed in the D.C. region for five weeks, from late June through early August 2025, with filming days in Alexandria falling over two days in July 2025.

“We loved working with the Queer Eye production team. They were enthusiastic about Alexandria’s destination appeal and small business stories. We had the opportunity to see the show come together behind the scenes at a few Alexandria locations, and the entire cast and crew were incredibly gracious,” said Claire Mouledoux, SVP of Marketing & Communications at Visit Alexandria. “Appearances in major films and shows act as powerful destination marketing, showcasing Alexandria’s charm, creativity and small businesses to a worldwide audience.”
