Washington Presidential Library at Mount Vernon
The Washington Presidential Library offers meeting spaces of various capacities. Rubenstein Leadership Hall seats 20-120 people, depending on room set-up requirements. Coulson and Gaines Meeting Rooms seat 10-30 people. There are also two smaller board-style meeting rooms designed for use as staff space, private call rooms, green rooms, etc. The Library also features out-door and in-door reception spaces. All spaces can be catered by the Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant.
All rooms are equipped with state of the art presentation technology for onsite, remote, and hybrid events.
Private event spaces for dinners and receptions on the historic grounds include George Washington’s Gristmill & Distillery, Mount Vernon’s Upper Garden, and the East Lawn overlooking the Potomac River. The Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant is also available for large and small private events.
The George Washington Leadership Institute:
As an education-oriented nonprofit, Mount Vernon seeks to preserve and share George Washington’s legacy with each visitor to our historic site. The Washington Leadership Institute focuses on educating leaders today using the historic example of George Washington, bringing the past to the present to develop leaders at all levels. Using Washington’s principles of leadership, the Institute can provide brief context and a sense of place to each event at Mount Vernon, to full leadership development training programs with a focus on strategy, team-building, and more.
