Named after Vola Lawson, a much-loved and iconic civil leader in Alexandria. Vola’s Dockside Grill features 87 outdoor seats on the water, a main dining room and bar area decorated with over 100 pictures of historical Alexandria, and a retro-cool, hideaway bar on King and Union.

Vola’s all day menu features fresh shucked oysters, crab cakes, hush puppies, lobster rolls, shrimp and oyster po-boys, fish & chips, and crispy fried chicken, to name a few. Join us for weeknight Happy Hour and Oyster Happy Hour, plus weekend brunch on Saturday and Sunday!
