Lloyd House
This eighteenth-century home provides a great historical and elegant setting for meetings and other events. Constructed around 1796-1797 by John Wise, a prominent entrepreneur in the early town who also constructed Gadsby’s Tavern (1785), Lloyd House is one of the best examples of Alexandria’s late eighteenth-century Georgian style architecture.
The first floor and garden of Lloyd House are available for rentals and can accommodate up to 125 people for a reception or 100 people seated.
