Dinner for the Washingtons Tour

  • 625 N. Washington Street Alexandria, Virginia
Aerial view of a large white colonial mansion with a red roof, surrounded by green lawns, trees, and a circular driveway with a clear view of water in the background.

Long before restaurants flashed the “farm to table,” badge, the Washingtons were living it. On this in depth and food focused tour, you can see the process of hosting a meal in the George Washington household from planting the seeds, to storing fresh produce, to serving for guests.
The tour lasts 60 minutes and concludes with a refreshment at the Mount Vernon greenhouse.
