Bastille Brasserie & Bar is an award-winning French restaurant and wine bar in Old Town Alexandria, offering a contemporary approach to classic French cuisine in a relaxed, sophisticated setting.

Chef-owners Christophe and Michelle Poteaux create seasonal menus inspired by France and driven by carefully sourced ingredients, from Bastille favorites such as Steak Frites and Magret de Canard to rotating seasonal dishes and desserts. The restaurant also features an extensive French-focused wine list, creative cocktails and thoughtfully selected beers.

Bastille serves dinner Tuesday through Sunday and offers Happy Hour throughout the week, along with special wine dinners, seasonal prix fixe menus and private dining. For nearly 20 years, Bastille has brought approachable French dining and warm hospitality to Alexandria.
