African American Hall of Fame

  • Charles Houston Recreation Center 901 Wythe Street Alexandria, Virginia

Home to Remember the Titans and Earl Lloyd, Alexandria has seen the desegregation of sports teams, touch downs that set stadiums wild, international athletes make their start, and even the first known female African American scuba diver.

For athletes, sports fans, and history buffs alike, the African America Hall of Fame offers stories that inspire.

You can visit the exhibit during the week from 9 am to 9 pm, on Saturdays from 9 am to 6 pm, and on Sundays from 1 pm to 5 pm.
