A homage to 19th-century mathematician Ada Lovelace, Ada’s on the River offers a sweeping view of the Potomac and features wood-fired prime steaks, fresh seafood and vegetarian fare.

The 260-seat restaurant has 160 indoor seats at dining tables, a large bar, and high tops, including a private 32-seat dining room, plus 100 outdoor patio seats. The interior, designed by Hapstak Demetrios, provides a warm, modern feel with 15-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and inviting booth seating. The wood-burning oven is a central component to the open-concept kitchen, nestled under a sweeping hull-like wood panel, and accented with vibrant red tiles. The private dining room includes a drop-down screen for presentations, river views, and flexible seating arrangements. Original art will feature Ada, her father, the poet Lord Byron, and other figures such as Jane Austen, Mary Shelley, and Emily & Charlotte Bronte.

Ada’s talented culinary team, led by Chef Randall J. Matthews, has created a variety of delicious, made-from-scratch menus. Options range from delicious hors d’oeuvres, to hearty custom buffets, and multi-course plated meals.
