Attendees will enjoy the experience of high tea, learn about different teas, and take in the atmosphere of tables decorated to represent different artists (Vincent van Gogh, Georgia O’Keefe, Claude Monet).

Join fellow tea and art lovers for a relaxing morning of conversation over loose leaf infusions, scones, savories, and sweets. This artist-themed high tea event is perfect for individuals, couples, or small groups. You can dress up in your favorite hats and gloves, or feel free to dress casually, too.

Morning tea will include sweets, savories, and hot tea/water. However, we are unable to accommodate special dietary restrictions. We will try to offer a variety of vegetarian options.

This event is being held in conjunction with The Art of Tea art exhibit.

The Art of Tea exhibit runs May 3 – June 2, 2024 at Del Ray Artisans gallery in the Colasanto Center, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, Virginia 22301. Gallery hours are First Thursday (Apr-Sept) 12-9pm, Thursday 12-6pm, Friday 12-9pm, Saturday 12-6pm, and Sunday 12-6pm. On the last day of the exhibit (Sunday, June 2) the gallery is open 12-4pm.
