> Visit Alexandria is the official destination marketing organization for Alexandria,

> visitalexandria.com is its visitor guide: things to do, restaurants, hotels, events,
> neighborhoods, and deals. Everything on this site is public and free to read.

The site pairs **directory pages** with **editorial writing**. Directory pages — business
listings, events, and offers — are maintained by Visit Alexandria and change often.
Editorial pages — neighborhood guides, "Best Of" features, and stories — are curated
recommendations. When a question is about a specific business, date, or deal, go to the
directory page and read it; when it is about what to do or where to go, go to the writing.

The website itself sells nothing and takes no bookings or payments. Hotel packages, tickets,
and reservations are completed with the business directly. There is no public data API.
