Vola’s Dockside Grill and Hi-Tide Lounge

Enjoy Thanksgiving dinner at the riverside for the whole family. From 11AM-8PM Vola’s will be offering a special 3-course for $49 as well as a kids prix fixe menu for $29. Choose a starter, entree, and dessert with menu highlights including: Stuffed Cherrystone Clams with applewood smoked bacon, andouille sausage, sweet peppers, and garlic bread crumbs; Roasted Turkey with garlic-parmesan whipped potatoes, brioche stuffing, almondine green beans, and rosemary-sage turkey gravy; and Apple Cobbler cinnamon sugar apples, graham cracker streusel, crème anglaise.

Choose a starter, entree, and dessert with menu highlights including: Charred Grilled Octopus accompanied by romesco sauce, crispy smashed fingerlings, blistered tomatoes, and champagne vinaigrette; Roasted Prime Rib served with twice baked potato, crispy fried brussels sprouts, au jus, and horseradish cream; and Panettone Bread Pudding made with vanilla and raisins topped with pistachio-banana butterscotch sauce.

Named after Vola Lawson, a much-loved and iconic civil leader in Alexandria. Vola’s Dockside Grill features 87 outdoor seats on the water, a main dining room and bar area decorated with over 100 pictures of historical Alexandria, and a retro-cool, hideaway bar on King and Union.
