The Situation Room Roleplaying Experience

Students sit at desks in a modern classroom watching a speaker present near a large screen displaying The Situation Room Experience: Washington’s Cabinet. Large windows let in natural light.
A group of women stand together in a conference room, smiling and holding tablets, while two other people sit nearby in conversation. Sunlight streams in through large windows, creating a warm, collaborative atmosphere.
Two women smile and celebrate in a room with wooden walls; one raises her fist while the other, wearing a red blouse, laughs and holds a paper flower decoration. Others are visible in the background.

Step back in time to 1790s Philadelphia with a roleplaying experience, the Situation Room. During this 75-minute game, the actions you take will decide the fate of our young nation.

The game will take you back in time to Washington’s second term as president and challenge you with the same domestic and international developments and crises he faced as the leader of our young nation.

Players, as members of Washington’s government, foreign diplomats, Native American leaders, and the press, will have to work together to steer the United States in the right direction.

Your $15 ticket includes access to the grounds of Mount Vernon (a $28 value).
