Alexandria Fall Festival
The second annual 2023 Alexandria Fall Festival, an Alexandria Living Magazine event presented by The Patterson Group, returns to River Farm Sunday, Nov. 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Festival-goers can expect exciting attractions this year, with additional food trucks, activities and entertainment.
A lineup of local culinary favorites will be in attendance including Goodies Frozen Custard & Treats, Rocklands Barbeque and Grilling Company, Port City Brewing Co., Lost Boy Cider, Paradise Springs Winery, DC Slices, Big Boy Tacos, A.M. Kettle, The Little Well, Milaap Chai, Taste of Asia and F.T. Valley Farm at Mont Medi. Expect all your fall favorites from kettle corn and hot chocolate to apple treats and much more!
There will be plenty of family-friendly fun at River Farm two magic shows from The Great Zucchini, caricature drawings from Capital Artworks, face painting from Sunrise Face Painting, pony rides and petting zoo from Mary’s Go Round Petting Zoo, Big Country Amusements bounce houses, Something Vintage lawn games and more! Take in the fall scenery from Adirondack chairs provided by Posh and Luxe.
Plus, families can take advantage of the beautiful fall scenery at River Farm and schedule a family portrait session with Lauren Vanni Photography. Sessions must be booked in advance and can be purchased via this link.
River Farm is the home of the American Horticultural Society, located at 7931 E. Boulevard Dr. in Alexandria. The estate, which sits on 25 acres along the banks of the Potomac River, was once part of land owned by George Washington.
The festival is an annual event organized by Alexandria Living Magazine, bringing the community together thanks to presenting sponsor The Patterson Group.
